1. Site Survey & Measurement
The first stage before starting to make custom-made furniture is to survey the location and measure the room to determine furniture needs. This is done if the property has been built and the owner does not have a picture of the room plan. However, if the owner/client has a floor plan, it will be easier for us to check whether the existing floor plan is in accordance with the existing conditions in the field.
2. Material and Finishing Discussion
After having the size of each room and determining what furniture to make, it’s time to choose materials and finishing. At KALIUDA Gallery, there are several choices of materials, finishing, and handles for your custom furniture. If the client doesn’t have a choice, usually we will suggest using teak wood for furniture material. Although the price does look more expensive than other woods, the durability of furniture with teak wood is more durable.

3. 3D Drawing
Most clients want to see what the furniture or room will look like after it’s finished. For that, we provide services for making raw 3D working drawings for free. From here, the client usually asks for a design change, whether it’s the design of drawers, shelves, doors, and so on.
We wanted to create something that would not only look good but also function well. We made sure that every piece has its place in the room, whether it is a coffee table, sideboard, dining table, bedside table, etc.
“Every piece is unique and no two will ever be alike.“
4. Custom-Made Furniture
The processing time for custom-made furniture will usually take longer than the manufacture of ordinary furniture. Processing time depends on the details of the furniture design, quantity, and weather. For more details, you can also read the following article: “Why is Custom-Made Furniture so Expensive”. We wanted to make sure that every piece in our collection had its own personality. Each one has its own unique features and characteristics. Each piece is handcrafted by skilled craftsmen using traditional methods. Every piece is unique and no two will ever be alike.
5. Furniture & Home Decor Arrangement on Location
The process of ordering furniture at KALIUDA Gallery does not stop until after the goods are finished finishing. However, our team will go down to the location to arrange the furniture and home decor in the existing room until it is finished.
So, don’t hesitate to order custom furniture at KALIUDA Gallery. Although the time is a little long but guaranteed, the results will be satisfactory.
