Our gallery is at Jl. Setra Cemenggon No.88, Celuk, Sukawati, Gianyar, Bali 80582. The workshop is at the same address, so the furniture you see is made on site. We are open Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm (GMT+8), by appointment. Book a time with us on WhatsApp.
A visit is the fastest way to judge solid wood furniture. You can run a hand along a teak top, pull out a drawer, look at a joint and compare four finishes side by side in daylight. A photo cannot do any of that.
This guide covers how to book, what to bring, what you will see and what happens once you leave.
Where we are
Celuk is a village in Sukawati, in Gianyar regency, on the stretch of Bali between Denpasar and Ubud. Our address is Jl. Setra Cemenggon No.88, and the gallery and workshop share it.
Bali traffic makes any drive time a guess, so leave a buffer and tell us on WhatsApp if you are running late.
How to book a visit
Every visit is by appointment. Message us on WhatsApp at +62 812-3842-178 with:
- the day and time you would like to come, Monday to Saturday between 9am and 6pm
- how many people are coming
- what you are looking for: a single piece, a room, a whole villa, or an export order
- whether you want to see antiques and textiles as well as furniture
We reply within 48 hours, so book a few days ahead if you can. If you are in Bali for a short trip, say so and give us your dates.
What to bring
The more we know when you walk in, the more useful the hour is. Bring what you have. None of this is required, but each item saves a round of messages later.
Room measurements. Wall lengths, ceiling height, and the positions of doors, windows and power points. Measure any doorway, stair or corridor the piece has to pass through. A large bed or buffet that fits the room but not the stairwell is a common problem, and an easy one to avoid.
Photos. Pictures of the room, and of pieces you like from anywhere. A reference photo is often the clearest brief we get.
Drawings, if you have them. Interior designers and architects can bring their own drawings. We quote against them and supply shop drawings before production.
A list from the catalogue. Browse our catalogue before you come and note the pieces that interest you. The beds page alone has 32 designs, so a shortlist keeps the visit focused. Dining sets and outdoor pieces are shared on request via WhatsApp.
A budget and a date. You do not have to share a number, but knowing roughly what you want to spend and when you need the furniture helps us point you to the right timber and design.
For export buyers. A product list or specs, likely quantities, and your destination port. Our export and wholesale page explains how we work with international buyers.
What you will see
Finished furniture
Everything we make is solid Indonesian hardwood: Grade A teak, mahogany, suar (including live edge slabs) and reclaimed timber. Seeing them side by side shows the differences quickly. Teak’s tight grain, suar’s wide figure and mahogany’s even colour read very differently at full size.
Antiques, textiles and artwork
We also keep Indonesian antiques, Sumba ikat textiles and artwork. Our antiques come from Bali, Java, Kalimantan and Nusa Tenggara, including Sumba, Timor and Lombok. You might see Balinese temple decorations, masks, Loro Blonyo statues, Sumba mamuli jewellery and textiles. Our guide to antiques from Bali and Nusa Tenggara goes into these in more detail.
Timber and finish samples
We offer four finishes on our pieces: natural oil, matte PU, white wash and antique. The same finish looks different on teak and on suar, so we show it on the species you are ordering. When you order, we send you a physical sample on the actual timber, and we keep the approved sample in the workshop for the life of the order. Our guide to wood finishes explains how each one wears.
The workshop
The workshop shares our address.
If you can see work in progress, look at half-built pieces. Joinery, timber thickness and the inside of a carcass tell you more about how a piece is made than its finished surface does.

Making the most of the hour
A few habits help when you are looking at a room full of furniture.
Sit on every chair and bench you are considering. Lean back. Height and depth matter more than looks once you live with a piece.
Open drawers and doors. Look at how a drawer runs and how a door closes.
Look underneath and behind. The back panel and the underside of a table show how carefully a piece is made where nobody normally looks.
Take a photo of each piece you like, with its label or a note of what it is. After a few rooms of teak, pieces start to blur together.
Ask about anything you do not understand. Timber grade, finish, lead time and delivery are all fair questions on the day.

What happens after your visit
A written quote
We send a quote within 48 hours. For custom work, nothing is cut until the drawing, the price and the date are agreed in writing. Our guide to working with a Bali furniture workshop walks through drawings, sampling and approvals in more detail.
Local orders
There is no minimum for local orders. We make a single piece as readily as a full villa fit-out. Lead time for local custom pieces is 4 to 8 weeks, confirmed in writing with the quote.
Local deliveries are blanket-wrapped. Delivery is free to Pemogan, Sidakarya, Pedungan, Sesetan, Sanur Kauh and Sanur. Other zones cost between Rp 50.000 and Rp 500.000. Our delivery and shipping page lists the areas.
Export orders
For international buyers, our minimum is one 20ft or one 40ft container. We quote FOB or CIF from the Port of Benoa, and production takes 60 to 90 days from order confirmation. Samples are available before you commit to a full order. We crate for export in timber crates, inspect quality before loading, and prepare the packing list, certificate of origin and phytosanitary certificate.
